Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Technician to join our growing technical support team. In this role, you will provide hands-on technical assistance and support for computer systems, hardware, software, and networking issues across a diverse client base throughout North America.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and related IT equipment

  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues (remote and on-site)

  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to end-users

  • Assist with system upgrades, data backups, patch management, and cybersecurity compliance

  • Maintain detailed documentation of support activities via ticketing systems

  • Support break/fix field operations and managed IT services

  • Collaborate with senior technicians and engineers on escalated issues and deployments


Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in an IT support role

  • Strong understanding of Windows OS, Office 365, and basic networking concepts

  • Experience with Lenovo, Dell, and HP laptops preferred

  • Skilled in diagnosing and resolving hardware issues and peripheral device configurations

  • Familiarity with remote desktop tools and ticketing systems (e.g., ConnectWise, Zendesk)

  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills

  • Valid driver’s license preferred (for onsite support roles)


Preferred Certifications:

  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP)

  • Experience working in MSP or break/fix environments

  • Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, Google Workspace, etc.)
