We are seeking a skilled IT Technician to join our team and provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth operation of IT systems across the company.

Job Description:

As an IT Technician, you will be the go-to person for resolving a wide range of technical issues. You will assist with the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network systems. Your ability to work under pressure and deliver effective IT support will be critical to keeping our team productive and connected.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day technical support to staff for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment including desktop computers, laptops, printers, and network devices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network problems promptly.
  • Assist with system updates, upgrades, and security patches.
  • Support the setup and management of user accounts, permissions, and passwords.
  • Ensure the proper functioning of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and wireless access points.
  • Assist with maintaining inventory and documentation of all IT equipment.
  • Provide remote or on-site support to users as needed.
  • Work closely with other IT team members to support large-scale IT projects and initiatives.
  • Train end-users on best practices and new software/hardware features.

Requirements:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as an IT Technician or in a similar technical support role.
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software.
  • Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and common software applications.
  • Basic understanding of networking, including IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, and VPN.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues in simple terms.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Customer-service oriented with a helpful, proactive attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • IT certifications include CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP).
  • Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and remote desktop tools.
  • Experience in maintaining and troubleshooting network infrastructure.
