Job Description:
As an IT Hardware Engineer, you will maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot hardware systems. You will work closely with the IT department to ensure the smooth operation of all hardware-related components within the company, including servers, workstations, and peripherals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain hardware components including servers, computers, networks, and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot hardware failures and ensure timely repair or replacement.
• Perform hardware upgrades and ensure compatibility with existing systems.
• Support software installation and integration on various hardware platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess hardware requirements for new projects.
• Monitor system performance and ensure hardware meets performance standards.
• Provide technical support to end-users on hardware-related issues.
• Maintain an inventory of all hardware components and ensure proper documentation.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in hardware engineering.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Hardware Engineer, IT Technician, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and hardware architecture.
• Hands-on experience with server configurations, storage devices, and networking hardware.
• Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.) and software installations.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications like CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
• Experience with virtualization technologies and cloud-based hardware setups.
