Field Technician with Networking-Cabling experience.

– Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients in the field.

– Communicate professionally in English, follow Standard Operating Procedures, and promptly transmit job documentation.

– Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware from various vendors.

– Resolving general IT issues related to jobs.

– Configure POS/Kiosk/Computer systems, swap parts and cables, and install operating systems.

– Follow detailed client/vendor instruction manuals to resolve issues.

– Conduct system upgrades and updates as necessary.

– Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.

-Candidates must have at least 12 months of hands-on experience in configuring, replacing, and repairing PC, laptop, server, printer, POS, kiosk, or other hardware. Cabling experience, including crimping, drilling, and patching with relevant tools, is required. A willingness to work outside regular business hours is essential. The technician must have their own vehicle and tools. Experience in electrician background – setting up new offices, data centers, and server rooms is highly desirable

Skills:

– Familiarity of LAN and network connectivity troubleshooting.

– Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

– Legally be allowed to work in Canada.
