Position Overview:

Salary- 40 CAD/Hour  to 60 CAD/Hour

JobType- Remote

We are seeking an AI/ML Senior Developer/Team Lead to design, develop, and validate cutting-edge AI/ML solutions using Python and SQL. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Generative AI (Gen-AI) or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) projects and a strong understanding of the development lifecycle for enterprise-grade AI solutions.


General Duties and Responsibilities

  • Research, design, implement, and optimize machine learning models.
  • Collaborate with AI product managers and business stakeholders to align AI capabilities with product goals and limitations.
  • Leverage expertise in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) processes, such as claims filing and adjudication, to develop domain-specific AI solutions.
  • Build data ingestion and transformation platforms using Python.
  • Identify opportunities for transfer learning and source new training datasets.
  • Develop AI models from scratch, providing detailed insights into their results for stakeholders.
  • Analyze and rank machine learning algorithms based on their success probability for solving specific problems.
  • Explore and visualize data to identify patterns and potential issues affecting model performance.
  • Ensure high data quality through cleaning and verification processes.
  • Supervise data acquisition to meet project requirements.
  • Define validation strategies and preprocessing/feature engineering requirements for datasets.
  • Train models, fine-tune hyperparameters, and evaluate their effectiveness.
  • Analyze errors in models and devise strategies for improvement.
  • Deploy models to production environments and integrate them into operational workflows.
  • Create APIs to operationalize AI model results for business users.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on programming experience in enterprise product development.
    • At least 3 years of project experience in deep learning, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and one or more statistical platforms such as R, SAS, or MATLAB.
    • Experience with classification and clustering algorithms.
    • Expertise in visualizing and manipulating large datasets.
    • Proven ability to deploy scalable AI solutions in enterprise environments.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving ability to decompose complex challenges into actionable components.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced, team-oriented settings.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), particularly in claims filing and adjudication processes.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects within scope, time, and quality requirements.
  • Familiarity with deep learning frameworks and libraries.
  • Knowledge of API development and integration for enterprise applications.
